By Train
Take the Malpensa Express to Milano Centrale, then a direct high-speed train to Venezia Santa Lucia. Allow 3.5–4 hours in total and arrange a water taxi from the station.
By Private Car Transfer
Ask your Milan hotel to arrange a private transfer, or reserve a city-to-city ride with Blacklane. Travel to Piazzale Roma in approximately 3–3.5 hours, then continue by water taxi to your hotel.
Arriving in Venice by Train
Book to Venezia Santa Lucia, not Venezia Mestre, to arrive directly on the Grand Canal. Arrange a water taxi in advance when traveling with luggage.
Departing Venice
Ask your hotel to arrange your airport or station transfer at least 24 hours before departure. They will confirm the pickup time and closest accessible dock.

Everything you need to arrive informed, comfortable and ready to celebrate.
Yes. Complimentary scheduled transportation will be provided to and from all wedding events whenever water transportation is required. Transportation will be coordinated according to each guest’s accommodation. Depending on your hotel, you may depart directly from its private dock or from a designated landing located a short distance away. Guests staying at private-island hotels will receive instructions specific to their property. Some event venues will be within approximately a 5–10 minute walk of many centrally located hotels. When practical, guests may choose to walk rather than use the scheduled water transportation. Your personalized itinerary will clearly identify both options. Scheduled return transportation will also be provided following each celebration. Please include your confirmed hotel in your RSVP so that we can assign the appropriate transportation. Guests arranging transportation independently outside the scheduled wedding service will be responsible for the associated cost.
All wedding events are Black Tie. Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo. Ladies should wear a floor-length gown or formal evening dress.
Venice requires occasional walking over uneven stone, bridges and docks. We recommend block heels, platforms or elegant flats rather than delicate stilettos. Some venues may be within a 5–10 minute walk of your hotel, so please choose shoes you can walk in comfortably.
October in Venice is generally mild but changeable, and evenings can feel cool on the water. We recommend bringing a wrap, evening jacket or light coat, as well as a compact umbrella.
The event locations are being kept as a surprise. Exact addresses, departure points and personalized transportation instructions will be shared with confirmed guests in late September.
